Happy 2013

We've squeezed quite a bit into the past few weeks and are looking forward to 2013 in Melbourne!

GFK brought the fire truck to the house.  Pretty exciting!
Eli and Liam in the xmas PJ's.
Playing in the block cart that GFK made.
 Final night together. :(

Happy New Year!  At Louie and Pauls' house.  We're so happy to be close to great friends!

 Love these two!
Poor little Eski.  He just wants to sleep and Eli screams 'Eski doggie' in his face all day long!  We are looking after Eski and Trevor the cat for the next 3 weeks while we look for our own place.

Cousins

Eli met his cousin Liam for the first time yesterday.  They have been enjoying the warm weather and running around in their diapers only most of the time!
But before they arrived we went to Toowoomba to spend some time with the Ingolds...
as well as the Dedekind's and Craney's.
 Eli LOVES the sprinkler.

 and his new hat.

Liam is all smiles for the camera.

More fun on the farm

Fun with GFK.
Eli carried these 2 chairs from the back garden down to the front garden and when I went to look where he'd gone this was what I found!

Water and mud are a popular pastime.
People ask me almost every day when I am planning to cut his hair.  Seriously?  Could you cut these beautiful curls?

Because of the altitude you can get sun burned really fast here.  The rule is that you have to have a hat one to go outside.  There are a heap of hats at the back door and today Eli refused to put his hat on and insisted on this one.  It is adult size though so I had to put a rubber band around it!
Eli loves the dogs and doesn't mind at all when they knock him over!
'Cooking' in the dirt in the shed is also a big hit.

Finally here

We had a pretty smooth trip across the pacific and have arrived on the farm where Eli can't believe all the space.  His vocabulary is exploding and he is crazy about all the animals.  His favourite new word is strawberry.  He stands at the door saying 'outside' and 'more strawberries'.  We've picked and eaten every strawberry in the patch every day!
This fresh country air does wonders for my hair!
 Gardening with Grandjops.

White is maybe not the best colour for Mr Strawberry man.
