Maine part 3 - Kawahnee

The Kawahnee Inn near Weld, Maine was where we said farewell to most of our east coast friends.  It was a great weekend and I took hardly any photos which I regret.

 The leaves were just starting to change so our drive was very pretty.

 Eli loves Aquinnah.  On one walk to the Inn we had to stop every 5 feet or so so that he could give her a kiss!

Saying goodbye was pretty much the hardest thing we've done in a long time. 

Maine part 2 - Georgetown

We rented an amazing house on the island of Georgetown in Maine and got to spend a lot of QT with Yiayia, Papou, Jessie, Pip, PFB and Jamshed.  We had great weather and Eli LOVED the beach.

Maine part 1 - The wedding.

Jessie and Jamshed's wedding was absolutely beautiful.  The ceremony was on the cliff's overlooking a lighthouse.  Eli was not exactly the well behaved little ring bearer he was supposed to be.  Instead, I think he won the award for dirtiest wedding guest!

Eli's favourite 3 things at the moment are the vacuum cleaner (va kee kee), broom (boom) and the dustpan.  Va kee kee is on the top of his list.  He constantly goes to the closet where it is and pulls it out and drags it all over the house saying 'va kee kee' over and over.  He even talks about it when we are out!

Labor Day weekend

We had a great 4 day weekend and enjoyed some warm weather finally.  We went to Tilden park in the East Bay on Sunday with the Gerbelot's which was a lot of fun.  Eli loved the animals and said 'Moo' to the cow only to have the cow moo back which was very alarming and from then on he wouldn't go back to the cows and kept waving at them and saying 'bye bye'.  He did wave and blow a kiss at them when we left though.  I also finished altering Eli's suit for Jessie and Jamshed's wedding so he's all set.

Yep, the same 'camera' face still comes out frequently.
