McClelland Gallery and Sculpture Park

We are trying to keep out of Daddy's hair this weekend because he is busy grading papers and writing half yearly report cards.  Today we went to the McClelland sculpture park.  I just heard about it last week and it is only 15 mins from our place.  The person who told me about it said it's great for kids because they can climb on the sculptures (when I got home this afternoon I read the website and found out that that is not actually the case!).  It is so cool and Eli loved it.  We'll have to go back again soon with Daddy.

The back yard

Eli and I had some fun in the back yard on Wednesday.  We raked the leaves and then got the ladder out to practice climbing.  He's slowly getting better at climbing but it's still "tricky"!

Oakleigh

We went to Oakleigh this morning and we'll be going back again soon! Oakleigh is this fantastic Greek neighbourhood with all kinds of Greek butchers, grocery stores and cafes.  It actually feels like you could be in Greece when you walk past a cafe with old Greek men sitting out front talking in Greek or stand beside a lady ordering in Greek at the butcher.  We bought some delicious food and stopped in for coffee and the now standard order babycino!

Big boy hair cut

We were walking past a hair dresser today and on a whim, decided to go in. Shane and I had been talking about the possibility of a hair cut but we just went for it while daddy was at work!  Eli was so good. He sat perfectly still and didn't complain once. (Much better than he is with me!). Our little baby looks like a big guy now!  Hopefully GFK will finally be happy!

Gimme Gimme
