Spring break

We had some beautiful spring weather for the spring school holidays.   We went to the tulip festival in the Dandenongs.

Mucked around at home a bit!

And spent 3 nights on Phillip Island.

Where we visited the Koala Conservation Centre.

And enjoyed the sunshine!

Taking a good photo of a small child is difficult enough but it's even harder to get a good photo of two!

A week at Benalong

Eli, Molly and I went to Glen Innes for a week.  Zoe and Liam came too.  We had so much fun!

 Lucas from next door loaned us some awesome costumes!

 GFK took the boys for a ride in the fire truck!

 A lovely moment of playing together that the boys set up themselves.  Made a nice contrast to the sharing difficulties!

 GFK had a stash of chocolate biscuits in his shed and would take the boys out there for morning tea each day.  Apparently it was secret but they came back with a lot of chocolate on their faces!

Another new old chair!

Here is the before and after of the chair I just reupholstered. The sad thing is that there is nowhere for it to go in this house. We'll just have to move soon to accommodate my chair!

Bouncy basket

We went to the McClelland sculpture park this morning and found that they had a special family day for their visiting Aboriginal exhibit.  This bouncy castle is made from a photo taken of one of the baskets in the exhibit.  They had amazing art and music and demonstrations.

This girl still has her crazy hair!

And she's started eating a bit but is not really too keen on it.

Eli and I made this cool robot costume this week.

Eli is really into dress ups.  We were out doing a spot of shopping last week!
