Little janitor

Eli's favourite 3 things at the moment are the vacuum cleaner (va kee kee), broom (boom) and the dustpan.  Va kee kee is on the top of his list.  He constantly goes to the closet where it is and pulls it out and drags it all over the house saying 'va kee kee' over and over.  He even talks about it when we are out!

Labor Day weekend

We had a great 4 day weekend and enjoyed some warm weather finally.  We went to Tilden park in the East Bay on Sunday with the Gerbelot's which was a lot of fun.  Eli loved the animals and said 'Moo' to the cow only to have the cow moo back which was very alarming and from then on he wouldn't go back to the cows and kept waving at them and saying 'bye bye'.  He did wave and blow a kiss at them when we left though.  I also finished altering Eli's suit for Jessie and Jamshed's wedding so he's all set.

Yep, the same 'camera' face still comes out frequently.

Eli has started making this terrible face whenever I try to take his photo.  We don't know where he got it from and he never does it at any other time.  Only when there is a camera in front of him!!

LA

We had a great time in LA on the weekend.  We stayed with Mike and Leah but got some quality time with Sean, Shauna and the boys as well as Colleen, Mike and their two kids.  We also had some late night beers with Squirrel.  Leah got us free tickets to Disneyland - yey!  We thought it really would just be an adult trip because Eli would be too young but he LOVED it!  He went crazy when we met Mickey Mouse and kept kissing his face over and over.  It was hilarious.  He also loved the rides, especially 'It's a small world' which is a slow boat ride with music and dancing puppets and bright colours.  On the ride he was jumping up and down and yelling and pointing from beginning to end... also hilarious.  Did I take one of the two cameras that I took to LA with us to Disneyland?  No.  Yes, it is official, I have become my mother!  Mike took the following photos at Disneyland on his phone.  Thank goodness for modern technology!
