Eli's daycare asked us to send a family photo for a picture wall they are making. I looked back and discovered that the last family photo we had was when Eli was about 8 months old! So here is the updated one.

Weekend in the city
We had an amazing weekend in the city this weekend. We stayed at Anna and Peto's while they are away in Germany and we caught up with friends and checked out the sights!

3 Bat Bats
Well look who showed up today. It's Old Bat Bat! He's been missing since February and was found hiding out in an esky/cooler. Eli has all three of them in bed tonight.

Pasta pasta
For Mother's Day back in May Shane and Eli bought me a Kenwood mixer. It came with a special offer that you could send off for and get a free pasta roller. It finally arrived yesterday so today we made fettuccini, pappardelle and little mushroom and garlic filled packages (not game to name them because I know I'll get them wrong and my Italian readers are out there!!!)
We also made lamb sausages with sundried tomatoes and oregano with the sausage maker attachment on the Kenwood. Eli helped me make pesto and it was an all round delicious dinner!

Undies!
Potty training begins. I don't think it's going to be a very fast process! And yes, those are undies on his head!
Today at daycare, about 5 mins before afternoon tea, Eli announced that he did not want any friut which is the usual offering. When it was served he walked up to the table and said he wanted some. When the lady told him that he'd just said he didn't want any he said 'I'd like a sandwich, please!

A week on the farm
Eli and I had such a great week with G Jops and GFK. When I told him we were going home he said 'Um, I just stay here'!!
LOTS of books!
Eli did a lot of 'helping' in the kitchen. He found a little step ladder and was up and down it all day long.
How much better does it get than a babycino and this view?
With Gail and Tristan.
LOTS of books!
Helping GFK!
He was obsessed with the worm farm. Here he has a worm on the end of the stick. He wanted to go and check the worms about 6 times every day!
Feeding the chooks.
Taking hay to Creme the cow.
