Here are a couple of snaps from todays passport photo shoot.  Does it get much cuter?!!

New old couch

Our friends Anna and Brian very kindly gave us their couches (along with a lot of other stuff) when they moved to Canada. I decided to update one of the couches and make the colour a little more child friendly. When GFK was here he helped me reshape the arm rests and then I made new slip covers. I'm pretty pleased with the result!

We had a great visit from GFK last month.  Eli was a bit worried that his motor bike would be a bit loud and actually said on the morning GFK was due to arrive  "I wish GFK could come in G Jop's car"!!

Mother's day.

I've taken up bread making.  This was my most successful so far.  It's potato and rosemary and it was amazing.

This was this morning.  Nothing better than a little bit of rolling around on a spare mattress on the living room floor!

Speedy Gonzales

Eli is getting really fast on his bike although he still manages to lose concentration and fall off a lot!  He's also doing really well at swimming and finally no longer scared.

10 weeks

21st April

Eli and I made wholemeal beetroot pasta today. It was really delish. We cut it into pappardelle and made some pesto to serve it with.

Eli was so excited about his party with his friends Mitchell, Liam, Amelia and Maddie!  Oh, and Peppa Pig.

                      We went  for a hike yesterday and saw an Emu!  Eli is showing the emu his hard hat in this picture!
